For the first time since Ares joined The Mighty Avengers and for the first time since Hercules took over for the Incredible Hulk, the characters clash in Incredible Hercules #113. Chris Claremont restarts Exiles as New Exiles #1. In the “why didn’t they collect this sooner” corner this week the first seven issues of Terry and Rachel Dodson’s Harley Quinn series are finally collected in the Harley Quinn Preludes and Knock Knock Jokes Hardcover.

Now that the One More Day storyline is over in the Spider-Man titles we begin the Brand New Day storyline in Amazing Spider-Man #546. Amazing is now the only regular monthly Spider-Man title (other than Ultimate Spider-Man) and is supposed to ship three times a month. The new Hulk title simply called Hulk #1 ships by the creative team of writer Jeph Loeb and artist Ed McGuiness.

After many months Anita Blake Guilty Pleasures #7 (of 12) and another ex-Dabel Brothers title Hedge Knight #4 (of 6) finally ship. Dark Horse Comics has Joss Whedon returning to write Buffy Season 8 #10.
