ANOTHER HELPFUL HALLOWEEN

halloweenpunkins3.jpg

  • Halloween is now just days away and we’ve got some seasonal things planned between now and the end of this weekend:
  • Due in part to the current state of the economy local food banks are at a record low, so Westfield Comics will again be holding a Food Drive to benefit the St. Vincent DePauls Food Pantry. Between now and Sunday, November 2 bring in any canned or non-perishable food item and receive a Free Comic Book Grab Bag. We’ll have special bags for kids and adults so bring in more than one item and get some free reading material for everybody while contributing to a good cause.
  • Halloween Weekend Friday, October, 31 through Sunday, November 2 Westfield Comics will be having a Costume Contest. If you come in wearing a costume you’ll get your picture taken and entered in our contest to win Gift Cards and other special prizes. Again, there will be different winners for kids and adults, so come one come all!
  • Don’t forget to come in and check out our Halloween displays of scary reading materials for kids and adults (here’s a link to our site for a sample of some of our suggestions)
  • Oh yeah, and we might have some CANDY on hand too!
