Dave Sim will always be remembered as the creator of Cerebus, but has always been looking for a new project to work on. The artist admits that the recent publication of his Glamourpuss book was just a way of keeping his mind and hands busy while his technical director helped him work on a project close to his heart. Sim began work on Judenhass in the winter of 2005 when he realized how affected he had been by the sixtieth anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz. He labored over it for two and a half years, determined not to release it until it was as good as he could make it. Advance word in the comic community has been overwhelmingly positive and now the book is ready for release.
